How a fixed-price plumbing quote works
What happens from your first call to approving the work and price on site.
Start with the problem, not the diagnosis
You do not need to know the name of a plumbing fault before calling. Tell us what you have noticed and where it is happening. A leaking tap, running toilet or water leak is enough information to start the conversation. Our form requires only your name and phone number; your suburb and a short description are useful additions.
Agree a visit separately
A request for a call is an enquiry. We contact you to discuss the issue and availability, then agree an appointment and arrival window. Once confirmed, we send a confirmation by text or email. You also receive an on-the-way courtesy call or text, so you know when we are heading to your property.
Understand the assessment
At your home, we assess the issue and explain the work we recommend. A fixed-price quote follows the agreed scope, rather than asking you to approve an unclear list of possibilities. Ask questions about what the work includes and what access is needed before approving it.
If investigation is more involved
Sometimes identifying the cause requires more involved diagnostics. We walk you through the options and what is required step by step while on site. Any diagnostic costs are explained and approved before we proceed. You can distinguish that investigation from the repair work that may follow.
Approve the work and price
We provide an upfront fixed-price quote for your approval before starting the required work. If you have selected one of our offers, we discuss it and confirm it with the quote. We take before, during and after photos to document the work. Payment is collected on completion; larger or multi-day arrangements are confirmed separately.
