What to tell us when your hot water needs attention
Useful details for discussing a hot water assessment and repair or replacement options.
Explain what has changed
When enquiring about hot water, describe what you have noticed: no hot water, unreliable supply or a visible leak around the unit. You do not need to identify the fault before contacting us. We discuss the issue and availability, then assess the system at your property before explaining the required work.
Include the details you already know
If you already know the unit type or model, include it in your request. You can also mention when you first noticed the issue and whether access to the unit needs to be arranged. These details support the first conversation. Our form only requires your name and phone number, so you can still request a call without them.
Repair and replacement are a discussion
You do not have to decide to replace the unit before an assessment. We discuss repair or replacement options after examining the issue. Ask us to explain the proposed scope and price, including what the work involves at your home. The decision follows the assessment and your approval of the quoted work.
Know what happens next
Once a visit is agreed, we provide an arrival window and send confirmation by text or email. You receive an on-the-way courtesy call or text. On site, we explain the required work and quote an upfront fixed price before starting. More involved diagnostics and any associated costs are explained and approved separately before proceeding.
Request help in the way that suits you
For an urgent plumbing issue, call 0413 801 693. For a call back, use the request form and choose Hot Water Systems if you wish. You can select one discount for us to discuss and confirm with the quote. Payment is collected on completion, with arrangements for larger or multi-day work confirmed separately.
