Describe the whole pattern
Tell us whether toilets, showers, basins or floor wastes are affected, and where wastewater first appears. Let us know if there has been previous clearing or a camera report. A single symptom cannot establish whether the issue is in private drainage, a shared connection or the public network; the actual pipework needs assessment.
Locating and assessing the restriction
Our drain equipment includes CCTV, a locator, a jetter and drain snakes. We choose suitable equipment according to access and the condition we find. A camera can help inspect accessible drainage, while locating equipment can help relate findings to a position at the property. We explain if clearing is needed before useful camera images can be obtained.
From clearing to a repair decision
Clearing a sewer restriction does not repair a broken pipe. If the assessment identifies damage or a repeated problem, we discuss the available repair approach and any access or excavation required. Those works receive their own explained scope and price. We do not assume tree roots or damaged pipework simply because of the suburb or the age of the home.
Understand the work before you decide
We assess the issue on site, explain the proposed work and provide an upfront fixed-price quote for approval before starting. If finding the cause needs more involved diagnostics, we walk you through the options and approve any investigation cost separately.
Once a visit is agreed, you receive an arrival window and an on-the-way call or text. We take photos through the work and explain the result. Payment is collected on completion; arrangements for larger or multi-day work are discussed separately.

Blocked sewer drain assessment: your questions answered
Know what to expect before you request a visit. For anything else, call and talk us through the problem.
Can you tell the cause before attending?
We can discuss symptoms and urgency, but confirming the cause generally requires an on-site assessment.
Do you guarantee a blocked drain will never block again?
We back our workmanship. Future blockages can have causes beyond the clearing work, so we explain the findings and any repair recommendations rather than promising permanent flow from clearing alone.
