CCTV drain inspection
A camera inspection can help investigate an accessible drain when the cause of a recurring blockage is unclear. We explain what the inspection can establish before quoting the investigation.

When a camera can be useful
A drain that repeatedly blocks, an uncertain pipe route or a suspected damaged section may justify camera investigation. The camera shows the accessible internal surface of the drainage it can travel through. It does not inspect every hidden water pipe in the home, and a useful result depends on access, visibility and the condition of the drain.
Camera and locator working together
Our equipment includes a CCTV drain camera and locator. Where suitable, the locator helps connect a finding inside the drain with a position at the property. We explain whether clearing is required first so the camera can pass and provide a useful view. If part of the line cannot be inspected, we explain that limitation rather than treating an incomplete view as a complete diagnosis.
Findings that help you decide
We discuss what was observed, what remains uncertain and whether clearing, repair or another investigation is recommended. Any repair is a separate decision with its scope and price explained before approval. If you need particular footage or documentation for another party, tell us when enquiring so we can confirm what is available and included.
Understand the work before you decide
We assess the issue on site, explain the proposed work and provide an upfront fixed-price quote for approval before starting. If finding the cause needs more involved diagnostics, we walk you through the options and approve any investigation cost separately.
Once a visit is agreed, you receive an arrival window and an on-the-way call or text. We take photos through the work and explain the result. Payment is collected on completion; arrangements for larger or multi-day work are discussed separately.
